How to write a Letter -Thanking to your uncle for the gift you your receive on the success of exam- BISE Gujranww

Q. Write a letter to your uncle thanking him for

the gift you receive on your birthday. (10

Examination Hall,

(City) A.B.C.

12th April, 2021

Dear Uncle,

I am quite well here and I hope you will be fine and healthy. The purpose of writing this letter is to express my heartiest thanks for the excellent gift you gave me on my birthday. All the gifts I got are valuable and precious, but your gift of a wristwatch is really wonderful. It demonstrates that you are well acquainted with my taste. It is the only gift that got my rapt attention. It makes a significant addition to my valuable collections of mine.

During the exams, I badly needed a wristwatch, but my pocket money did not allow me to purchase a watch. Now I can make the best use of my time in all my schedule of studies. All of my friends are surprised and pleased to see my watch.  I shall try to keep it with all good care.

Dear Uncle, I missed you very much at the party arranged by my parents. However, once again I thank you for such a marvellous gift. Hope to see you soon. Please pay my humble regards to all at home.

Yours affectionately,

X.Y.Z.

How to write a Moral Story- A Thirsty Crow- First Year Notes- BISE Gujranwal

Q. Write a story on the moral, "Necessity is the mother of Invention" (10)

Title:             A Thirsty Crow
(Write the name of the story in Title)

Since the very advent of human civilization, morality has been considered a part and parcel of character building. It is the essence of every religion all the time. All the intellectuals have taught moral values in their sermons and lectures. Giving lessons through moral stories is the most effective method of teaching morality. The following story teaches us the moral “Necessity is the mother of invention

It was a hot summer day. A crow felt very thirsty. He flew here, there and everywhere in search of water, but he could not find any in the neighbourhood. All of a sudden, he caught sight of a pitcher on the roof of a house. The crow flew up to it and found that it was half full of water. He tried to drink water but could not succeed because the water was a bit low for him. He was disappointed because he did not know how to quench his thirst.

The crow did not lose his heart and thought of a plan. He flew to the nearest mound and returned with a small pebble in his beak. He dropped it into the pitcher and flew away to bring another. In this way, he dropped many pebbles into the pitcher. Slowly the water began to rise. After a while, it rose to the mouth of the pitcher. The crow drank it to his heart’s content and flew away happily.

Thus in order to lead a successful and fruitful life, one has to conform to all the moral values taught in the moral stories.
